MODEL PELAKSANAAN WHOLE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT APPROACH MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SD ISLAM TERPADU INSAN MADANI KOTA PALOPO

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the implementation model of the whole school development approach through the management of the development of character education that is applied in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) of Insan Madani, Palopo City in terms of the implementation of education, patterns of character education development, and the effectiveness of the implementation of character education. This research used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data collection was done by in-depth interview techniques, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data findings was done by means of, Credibility, Transferability, Dependability (reliability) Reference material, confirmability (objectivity). The results showed that character education through the implementation of the whole school development approach was carried out by involving all relevant stakeholders and building relationships with a sense of full responsibility and the teachers set an example so that the planning ran effectively with the indicators being that the students had known and practiced the five characters of love, love to Allah and the Apostle, parents and teachers, self and others and the motherland. The implementation of the whole school development development approach model synergizes and realizes its responsibilities in their respective fields be it the school principal, teachers, school staff and parents of students.
